The Western Australian Sports Federation (WASF) is the independent, peak industry body for sport and active recreation in Western Australia.  

It comprises of in excess of 125 state sport and recreation organisations, extending to over 650,000 people.

Purpose: 

WASF exists to support, promote and advocate for the ongoing development of sport and active recreation in WA.  

WASF provides support to its members and the industry through advocacting on behalf of members to government and the commuity.

WASF has regular contact with the Minister for Sport and Recreation which further enables the Federation to raise key industry matters and support the development of sport and active recreation in WA.

  • Build the capacity of WASF as the industry peak body
