Sports Star Awards 2009
The
2009 ANZ Sports Star Awards received extensive media coverage in both
regional and metropolitan WA through press, radio and electronic
media.
A
summary of the media coverage is outlined below:
PRESS
As
of 29 January 2009, over 56 articles had been featured in regional
community and WA metropolitan newspapers, including 3 main
articles in The
West Australian.
RADIO
882
6PR ran their sports broadcast from Burswood Entertainment Complex on
the evening of the Awards.
882 6PR also discussed the Awards during programs on the morning of the
Awards and the following day.
TELEVISION
The
telecast of the ANZ Sports Star Awards was shown in the metropolitan
area on Channel 7 and in regional WA through GWN on 7 January 2010.
In addition to the telecast, Channel 7 Perth delivered their
sports news
from Burswood Entertainment Complex on the night of the Awards.
