The Crawford Report Released

The long awaited Crawford Report has been released. On
the surface there appears to be some opportunities at all levels of
sport - international, national and local.
Initial observations are that the Sports Panel has recognised many of
the current challenges. The response from the federal government
will be of significant interest especially its approach to the
recommended partnering with sport and the state and territory
governments to support any implementation.
The Sports Minister, Kate Ellis, is encouraging further dialogue with
sport on the Report and progress for the recommendations.
The Australian State Sports Federations Alliance (ASSFA) have
distributed a media release regarding the report, click here to download the release.
